Privacy
Silent Bell collects nothing. There is no account, no sign-in, and no server — the app contains no networking code at all.
What stays on your watch
Your settings — taps per hour, minimum gap, tap type — are stored on the device. A short diagnostic log of session events is kept there too, so problems can be investigated. Neither is transmitted anywhere. Both are removed when you delete the app. The log is only ever shared if you deliberately choose to share it.
Notifications
When a session reaches Apple's one-hour background limit, Silent Bell shows a notification so you can resume. It is created on your watch. There is no push service and nothing is sent or received.
Purchases
Payment is handled entirely by Apple. We never see your name, payment details, or Apple Account. Apple's own privacy policy covers that transaction.
Analytics and tracking
None. No analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising identifiers, no third-party SDKs of any kind. Nothing to opt out of, because nothing is gathered.
Children
Silent Bell is suitable for any age. As no data is collected, none is collected from children either.
Changes
If any of this ever changes, this page changes with it — and because the source code is public, you never have to take our word for it.
